Mike Jaeger is an Assistant Inspector General at the Office of the Inspector General, Metropolitan Transportation Authority, State of New York, in charge of the Financial Investigations Unit.  Mike has a BS in Public Accounting from the University at Albany, and is a Certified Public Accountant, a Certified Fraud Examiner, and a Certified Inspector General He has been among other things, Deputy Chief Auditor with the NYS Attorney General’s office, Medicaid Fraud Control Unit, a Director at Decision Strategies, and a Managing Director at Kroll Associates.

A Practical Guide on Searches and Seizures. 
 

This will not be a legal treatise on searches, but rather a “how to” guide on how to obtain court authorization for, and how to actually execute searches, including search warrants, searches during internal corporate investigations, computer cloning and trash pulls.

The topic will include looking at searches from both sides, and discussing how each side should respond.
